“This is an absolutely beautiful property. It’s very secluded and has a very romantic feeling to it. The owner is amazing and makes you feel like family. We booked it last minute after our VRBO ended up being a scam and we had to scramble to find somewhere to sleep. This owner went above and beyond to make us feel welcome after our terrible experience with the VRBO. The cabins are very clean and comfortable. “I stayed at Nakanku Lodge from mid January to mid February 2024 accompanied by my little Maltese dog, Lulu. Everything was wonderful! The tropical garden setting was beautiful. I loved the pool and easy proximity to beaches. The outdoor kitchen was so fun as it generated opportunities for community and conversations with other guests. Gary was a super host! Hope to return next winter! Pura vida!”

“I stayed for 8 nights at this property on the Pacific coast of Costa Rica. It is located off the beaten track, hidden away on some rough backroads, but was a gem and a perfect paradise to house my family of 5 — 3 adults and 2 kids, aged 13 and 9.
