Great stay in a beautiful Riad. Truly an oasis from the crazy souks . Staff especially Selma were kind and helpful. The spaces for lounging were gorgeous only downside was the arrangement of the pool which was away from the loungers and the hot tub/jacuzzi was not working to get hot and only suitable for a hot day since it’s cold and shaded.

We stayed at Riad Jona for 5 days and 4 nights as a family of four, booking two rooms. Overall, the riad is very beautiful and offers a charming, traditional atmosphere. The environment is peaceful and comfortable, making it a pleasant place to relax after a day out. The staff were consistently polite, welcoming, and helpful throughout our stay, which we really appreciated. The hammam experience was also very enjoyable and a highlight of our visit. That said, there are a few areas that could be improved. While the riad is lovely, parts of the bathrooms would benefit from some updating, particularly the paintwork and wooden fixtures. One of the main inconveniences we experienced was that our two rooms were located in separate buildings, even though we booked together as a family. It would have been much more convenient to have rooms in the same building. The pool temperature was quite cold, even on sunny days, which made it less inviting to use. Breakfast was decent but somewhat repetitive, with limited variety aside from occasional cakes. A wider selection would enhance the experience, especially for longer stays. Finally, although we arranged an airport transfer through the riad and paid a higher price for convenience, we were dropped off at Place of Mellah without guidance. We then had to walk through a busy street to locate the riad ourselves, which was particularly challenging without internet access. In summary, Riad Jona offers a beautiful setting, friendly staff,

Our stay at Riad Jona during our first trip to Marrakesh was absolutely wonderful. The riad itself is beautiful, and we truly appreciate the staff for their hard work in keeping the property exceptionally clean and well maintained. The only downside for us was the breakfast. As pure vegetarians, we found the options limited since the same set Moroccan breakfast was served daily. A little more flexibility or variety for vegetarian guests would have made the experience even better. That said, we understand this can be part of traveling, and we managed by bringing some of our own food. Another point worth mentioning is the airport transfer experience. While transportation was arranged, we were left to find the riad on our own and had some difficulty navigating the alleys, with limited help from people nearby. We did eventually find our way, but having a clear landmark would make this process much easier for future guests. For example, directing guests to walk toward a specific shop in the main alley and then take the opposite alley to reach the riad would be very helpful. Overall, despite these minor challenges, we sincerely appreciate the effort and dedication of everyone at Riad Jona, and we are grateful for the warm hospitality during our stay.

I can’t really agree with their so-called “deluxe room”, which was what I booked. They’re very strict/stingy with towel supply. There’s only one bath towel and one mid size towel. When I asked for face towel and extra bath towel, I received none. No electric kettle. My unit wad crossed the street from main building, so I had to go downstairs, crossed the street, then to kitchen for hot water. But that only happened if I was lucky that there’s someone in the kitchen.

Tranquil small hotel in an old home. Fantastic location in the Medina. Lovely staff overall. The management did fail to organize a trip that we requested but apologized profusely and the gave us free drinks in return. Breakfast was very nice and beautifully served. Hot tub not in use. Swimming pool heated but too shallow to swim in. Small area deeper with steps to sit on. Would be ok to cool off on a hot day. Great roof terrace. Rooms are either side of an alleyway in 2 buildings which are connected at terrace level. Breakfast from 8.00 but on our last day when we had to leave at 8.25 didn’t start to 8.15.

A lovely example of a Marrakech riad. Small and friendly, the staff were incredibly helpful. The food was good although a little limited and quirky (chocolate cake for breakfast) but the facilities are lovely, the location is good - just a 15 minutes walk to the main square through the outer layers of the medina. I can totally recommend a stay at the Riad Jona!
