"Our princess themed room was spacious and clean. We had no breakfast so cannot comment on this. Staff were very helpful explaining how the boiler and heating worked. "

"The amenities were poorly maintained and not well cleaned. There was a broken toilet seat and we could not use it, broken shower tray and mould, cobwebs everwhere. We had no extra bedding for the guest sleeping on the sofa bed. There was a horrible smell in one bedroom and bathroom so we don't believe they have been fully cleaned. We tried numerous times to speak to the host to get this solved but no effort was made and our calls were ignored. Vrbo customer service were helpless and only said they would contact the host. The apartment would be a nice stay but unfortunately it is not well looked after. A very disappointed and upsetting stay. We will not be using Vrbo again."

"I am full of praise for The Peacock Hotel. We received a warm welcome on arrival, and the staff were helpful and friendly throughout our stay. Our room was comfortable and well-equipped, with a lovely view over the garden. Our evening meal in the restaurant was outstanding - delicious, high quality, creative and beautifully presented food- all served by a great team of staff in a relaxing atmosphere. This hotel is a wonderful place to stay and unwind Highly recommended."
