"This was the perfect accommodation for our annual Christmas family get together. The cottage is furnished to a very high standard, making for a very comfortable stay. The underfloor heating in the bathrooms is wonderful! We hope to stay again."

"What a fantastic location to host our Thanksgiving week with friends. The house is immaculate and has everything you would need. It’s big enough that you don’t feel cramped and the large room is perfect for entertaining. "

"The amenities were poorly maintained and not well cleaned. There was a broken toilet seat and we could not use it, broken shower tray and mould, cobwebs everwhere. We had no extra bedding for the guest sleeping on the sofa bed. There was a horrible smell in one bedroom and bathroom so we don't believe they have been fully cleaned. We tried numerous times to speak to the host to get this solved but no effort was made and our calls were ignored. Vrbo customer service were helpless and only said they would contact the host. The apartment would be a nice stay but unfortunately it is not well looked after. A very disappointed and upsetting stay. We will not be using Vrbo again."

"House is immaculate in a brilliant location in centre of Matlock. Parking for 3 cars house easily accessible with code. All rooms are very spacious. Large kitchen with all amenities, great games room and lovely garden area with hot tub. Would highly reccomend"
