"The cottage was so clean, cute and cozy just for two! Modern updates were beautifully done and nice hospitality basket upon arrival. It’s so close to Sandusky and we even drove to Cleveland Zoo and Cuyahoga Brandywine Falls…worth the trip! We visited the Marblehead Lighthouse and even did a trip to the huge Maumee Antique Mall. Lots of nice local eateries within 15-30 min drive. I would definitely recommend for a couples relaxing get-away!"

"Our family had so much fun at this location for the 2024 Eclipse. Sandusky had much to offer and the place right on the water was filled with nature. The clubhouse was clean and a great place to hang out. My children said the community bathrooms were the nicest they'd ever seen! Everyone was so friendly and kind. "My husband and I along with our two boys ages 7 & 4, absolutely LOVED this place! Boys are already asking to go back! We were just close enough to all the activities we wanted to do. Also right across from us is a nice view of the lake. The house is well kept and very clean. The sunroom was our favorite room in the house it has a pinball machine radio mini fridge games and lots of toys for the kids. Great communication with the host as well and we loved Bootsy the neighbors cat! Great quiet...

"My family thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the cottage. It was well-equipped and conveniently located a short walk from the lake, downtown, and Hoover Auditorium. The air conditioning worked great on hot and humid days and on more pleasant days we especially enjoyed relaxing on the front porch. We would definitely stay there again."

Host was great and notified us once the place was ready prior to check-in time and also allowed us to keep our car at the home a few hours after check out. "We stayed here for the Ironman Race in Sandusky, and it was ideal. Quiet street, clean and comfortable… exactly what we were looking for at a very reasonable price. Easy to coordinate and I texted the property manager once just to say “hi” and got a quick response back, which was comforting. No issues, easy check-in/check-out and overall pleasant stay. Thanks!"

"The condo was nicely furnished and also clean. The view was the absolute best part. You do have to walk by a very rowdy, loud crowd to get there but once you are back into the condo building it was quiet. Most places we rent normally have standard amenities such as soap, small samples of shampoo, coffee, sugar, small creamers…so we were surprised this condo did not. Also!!! IMPORTANT! 4 out of the 5 times we really needed a shuttle we could not get one. There is only ONE shuttle for Hazzards on...

"We accepted the fact that we booked this condo with nothing to do on this island. This particular condo was janky. The overall layout and view at this building is great. I paid a hefty cleaning fee to stay here too. The entire space smelled like undiluted cleaner when we walked in. But oddly, nothing was clean. We tried to air it out, but there were holes all over the screen to the balcony. So it was bugs all night or the smell. The towels reeked; like they were washed without soap and left in...

"This place was in a nice community, but the house was a dump. It was difficult to find and not very clean. There was a hole in the shower surround, the bikes were rusted, and there was a window and door that were obviously almost broken, upon arrival. The owners will charge you an arm and a leg if you don't take the trash out, place the used sheets on the floor, put dishes away, etc. We will not be staying at this vrbo again, but will be returning to Middle Bass Island."
