"This hotel has the makings of a great place to holiday. It is close to the resort, just a five minute walk on the flat. The rooms are adequate, may be not 4* and quite dark, certainly not as they appear on the website. Breakfast is ok but is the same every day and after a week is a bit repetitive. Bathrooms great as not all in Greece are. Main letdown was the sunbeds which were very uncomfortable and need replacing to a 4* hotel standard. There isnt enough of them either, but there isn't...

"We really enjoyed our stay at these amazing apartments with a beautiful view over the sea and right in the centre of the gorgeous village of Sissi. The proprietor was very helpful and nice, happy to give advice on places to visit. She also booked our taxi from the airport and was ready to move us to a downstairs flat because I was walking in crutches. The pool is also a bonus and the apartment complex has a beautiful architecture and is well kept. What a gem!"

Julienne ist sehr freundlich, die Übergabe der Schlüssel hat perfekt geklappt. Gern hätten wir die wunderschöne Windmühle mit dem kleinen Garten mehr zum Entspannen, Lesen usw. genutzt. "We enjoyed our stay at this clean and comfortable apartment with a great balcony. It is not too modern and is great value for money. It was easy to find and very close to the seafront, it has a pretty garden. The host was friendly and helpful. Milatos is a peaceful seaside village reminiscent of Crete 40 years ago, however it has choice of places to eat. We had our best meal in Crete so far at Meraklis Tavern on the waters edge, very good value"

"We stayed in a newly refurbished room at Maria’s hotel and it was exceptionally clean, spacious and had everything we needed for our stay. The shower pressure wasn’t great but that’s truly the only problem we faced. The owners are wonderfully friendly and welcoming and really made us feel valued. Sissi is a quiet little town but is easy enough to get out and about to other places nearby if you wish. Would really recommend this hotel and would like to thank them for such a lovely few days...

"The apartment is spacious, clean, well-appointed with all the necessary equipment for a nice holiday and we slept well in a comfortable bed. The decoration is peaceful with charming personal touches. Milatos Beach, with its tavernas along the front, including one run by Kostas’ family, has more the laid back feel of the villages on the south coast. We can recommend the food at the family taverna and ate there frequently enjoying the very warm hospitality of the family. We would recommend it."
