Plenty of space

We had a wonderful time. House was spacious and was very pretty and clean. Pool table and pool was used everyday. We will definitely be back! Thanks so much!!

Great house in a great spot

upon first coming into the home, we were a little disappointed with the condition/updates. On further reflection we came to accept that the listing simply did an exceptional job with the photographs. The cabinets are a little old but the updates to countertops, appliances and bathrooms are very nice. The pool was a little smaller in person than we perceived in the photos. All that said this home worked very well for our group and was nicely located in walking distance to the beach as well as both Alvin's Island and Dollar General. It made it very easy to pick up a few essentials without having to drive. We would consider this for future trips if we wanted to visit the area again.

Pictures were deceiving…not what I expected.

It was problems after problems. BBQ pit was junk, got a new one but took two days, dryer took forever to dry towels, not enough bathing towels, third floor shower leaked horribly, toilets wouldn’t flush- plumber came out helped but within one day back to stopped up toilets. Trouble opening exterior doors, overall cleanliness not the best! Kitchen cookware not enough. Cooked but used silverware to stir! Oven overcooks. All rooms should have a TV. When you go to bed you should have that luxury to watch TV! It said it sleeps 14 but it sleeps 12. We had to get the owner to purchase a blowup mattress for two of our guest! Had to wear some form of shoes, the whole trip because the floors felt dirty and without shoes your feet were black. Construction site right next-door heavy equipment used all day from sunrise to sundown very noisy! And… Need more door/window coverings to keep the sun out. The facility stayed warmer 90% of the time than cooler. no extra blankets or Linens to change out beds! The price we paid Wasn’t worth a week stay!
