Summer Vacation

The place is cute and clean. The only thing is the pull out couch (sofa bed) was defective and shower handle was not screwed properly but not a big deal. Property manager is responsive and reachable. We surely will plan to come back.

There was a put put course that you could walk to and a beach restaurant and bar right on the beach. The pool was clean too! We will be back! Our only complaint is there is no one on staff in the front to help you find your exact location and it was unclear if we were in tower 1 or 2.

Beautiful condo

Beautiful, updated property. The condo was extremely clean. Didn’t worry about walking around bare footed. It was spotless. Only issue we had is they didn’t offer late checkout, even though there was no one checking in til the next day. Great stocked kitchen, pretty decor. Short 5 minute walk to beach. Just fyi no beach towels provided, but had beach chairs, umbrella, football, frisbee and boogie boards. We had to ask about those things bc they forgot to give us code to get into storage area. Would definitely stay there again.

A little smaller than the other Luau building, so glad there were only 3 of us. Gorgeous decor. Wish the TVs were smart TVs so we could have streamed Netflix. Also, pillows were very hard. Might want to replace them. Management was quick to respond to any questions. I love the discounts that come with renting through MVH. Great experience. We would rent again!

Beautiful Condo

The condo was very clean. The basics where there. We really enjoyed the sandestin community. The condo was less than a 10 minute walk to the beach. There is a gravel parking lot provided for free parking by the beach access, but we thought the walk from the condo was shorter. We used the chairs and umbrella provided by the owners. They were nice. The property is well maintained. The pool is large. The beach access has a tiki bar and restaurant. We will stay here again.

Patio door was broken but they were in the process of getting that fixed. King bed was very comfortable. If you plan to use the sofa sleeper there is a sheet, but you will need to bring a blanket. I think the area rug might need replaced. Looks somewhat dirty/stained. Nothing horrible. The beach chairs are smaller and short in length. They worked fine for us. It will be easier to get the umbrella deep in the sand if you have a tool. Beach is within walking distance. Several restaurants and shops nearby. We had a great time and enjoyed our stay!

Everything was just as listed. The one and only negative is there needs to be black out curtains in bedroom, even sleep masks which we had will not keep the sun out early in the morning.

Very large, busy location. That means the beach access area is VERY BUSY. Be advised the beach access was across the building lobby, past the swimming pool, down the stairs, across the street, down the sidewalk, then over the walkway. Suggest block out curtains in the bedroom (the current sheer curtains are no help).

Great place to stay

Beautifully decorated, very clean, well appointed room. Only thing we needed was coffee filters so bring your own. The balcony is nice but overlooks a parking lot with only a small glimpse of the ocean. The pool is very nice and convenient. We never had a problem getting chairs. Beach is absolutely beautiful but get out there early due to crowds. We rented chairs/umbrella for$55 one day. The Beach House restaurant on property was very good and a great place to have drinks after dinner. Staff was super friendly. If you’re going to Baytown you might want to take the shuttle. Parking was full even for early dinner. Nice, safe area with shopping and great restaurants close by. Door code didn’t work until 4 pm on check in day so don’t bother coming early. Download the Hospitality App associated with My Vacation Haven, the rental company, so you’ll have door and gate codes easily accessible on your phone. Plus lots of info about the resort and surrounding area.
