Our stay at the house was a mixed experience. The house itself was nicely furnished and quite comfortable. The location near the beach and the views were excellent. Sandestin resort itself is very nice. However, there were a couple of drawbacks that affected our experience. First, upon checking in, we discovered an unpleasant amount of dead and live insects/bugs in the living room area. Next, what beach with a private patio area does not have a BBQ grill -- this was a significant disappointment.Finally, and for the fun part, the upstairs toilets had plumbing issues during our stay. Despite repeated request resort maintenance, these issues went unaddressed.Regardless, we enjoyed our stay.
