「Beautiful property only a few minutes from downtown Highlands. This historical property was refurbished with mid century design furnishings. The Oak Steakhouse is outstanding….well worth the splurge! The only small criticism is the carpets need cleaning and the bath amenities need checking before someone occupies a room. We will return!!!!!」

「Great little old school motel that has been well-kept. Room was super clean, owner is very kind and helpful, check-in was easy, and coffee was available in the lobby at 7am. We especially enjoyed the pool after a long day of travel. Great value, would definitely stay here again.」

「We had a beautiful suite, very comfortable bed, recently updated, very quiet beautiful setting from our balcony, in our suite we could hear our neighbors like they were in our kitchen. We were disappointed that the pools , lake, mini golf and all other outside amenities are back in town where you check in. But we loved our suite and would stay there again.」

「We loved that the property was close to town but very quiet. There’s a wonderful view of the mountains from the second floor wrap around porch. It’s a quaint establishment with some history. We enjoyed two outstanding breakfasts. Paul is a gracious, friendly and knowledgeable host. 」

「A good value for an affordable hotel. Room was modern and clean. I was on an adventure vacation, I was not looking to spend a lot of time in the hotel. Room was clean every day, staff was friendly and professional. Location is very convenient to everything. 」
