"We enjoyed beautiful, spacious rooms to unwind and rest after long days of sightseeing around Kyoto. The staff were warm, welcoming, and super helpful and the location was unmatched. The hotel is just a short walk to all the must-see shrines and temples in Higashiyama and Gion, restaurants and bars in Pontocho Alley, and Gojo Station. It was also very convenient having an on-site laundry facility. We’d definitely stay here again! "

"As far as what I didn’t like there is not much that I can think of other than clothes are hard to dry in high humidity. This was not the hotels issue . The property was super clean, staff was fantastic, and it was connected by a short bridge walkway to the train system. Super easy to navigate all over Kyoto. We received a 1000 yen voucher per person in our room which we used at the steakhouse on property. By far top 5 dinners I’ve had, ever…I would highly recommend Hotel Emion Kyoto to anyone thinking of traveling to Kyoto. "
