「Professional staff, beautiful view, clean room, convenient location 」

「First, the staff was lovely, kind and very helpful. However, the property was very old, not kept up at all, and very far outside of the city. It’s by a beautiful river, but outside of a seating area, there is no place to walk or enjoy it. The property smells of mold (if you are sensitive, you may need to pass). And there was black mold growing on the tub/shower. The breakfast was a beautiful representation of a traditional Japanese start to the day, however, and we were thankful to enjoy it.」

「When me and my companion arrived Ohara bus station, we informed the minshuku and the staff arrived quickly and picked us up. He was very nice and explained to us what we could do around the small town. It was the season of firefly sighting so we decided to explore the town at night, he noticed that me and my companion was wearing short sleeves and quickly told us to wear a jacket to protect us from insect bites, he even lend us a torch as it was quite dark on the streets.
