“Great place for a quick escape. Quiet area with a great pond and hiking! Super clean. The pond is clear and serene, a short walk down the road from the bungalow. The cabin is adorable, but I would have loved a few more curtains; the windows are very open. Also, the place begs for lamps, especially for reading; only overhead lighting, which is a but harsh. ”

“I stayed with my spouse and two children (ages 5 and 9). We felt very safe. The rental was very private and separate from the main house. The bedrooms and two bathrooms were very convenient. Check-in was super easy and directions were clear. Lots of things were provided to make the stay very easy and convenient.Two points of inconvenience: 1) the downstairs bathtub only gets warm water. “Just returned from a wonderful stay at this property. The house was clean and had everything you could need while on vacation. The pond was so clean and clear. We even saw a loon.”

“I absolutely loved my stay at the Red Cottage and it is my favorite place that I've stayed while visiting Wilmington. Peaceful, plenty roomy, less than 10 minutes to town and even closer to the lake. I have Celiac so have to bring items like a toaster to avoid cross-contamination but the kitchen has everything you need for your stay. The team was super responsive even before my stay. Highly recommend and look forward to my next visit! ”

“Great spot! House is fantastic, they did a really nice job with the remodeling and renovating. We loved the deck as well—gets a good amount of sun and is a good hangout spot. The yard is huge for games like frisbee and tossing a football. Only demerit is the dock—for one, it needs some redoing because it's falling apart. And two, it's not really set up to walk directly into the water because of lily pads and debris/rocks. But the community beach is within walking distance, so still not too……

“My family and I loved our stay. This cabin had everything we needed and more. One thing we do wish we had was fans in the upstairs rooms, as we stayed in the summer time and it did get quite hot up there. The owners were very helpful, and amazing with communication. We would absolutely love to stay here again one day! ”

“The place was fine but the ac unit was not working . The high tempatures and humidity it was 85 inside the majority of time . I rented this place to work and relax and I spent my time waiting for hvac appointments etc and being hot, not able to sleep becuase of the heat. If the air conditioning was working it would’ve been really nice .”
