“nice view! The lady at the reception is very kind. Staying one night there was a good choice for us.”

“We booked a room for 2, but an extra twin bed was already there, so we are given a room for 3. The room is classic, clean and comfortable, with good air conditioning (but only Reception can adjust the temperature ) The wooden floor squeaks when stepped on . During our stay the elevator was out of order for a few hours, but quickly fixed. Breakfast is decent. Overall very one here is very nice .”

“We loved our stay at the Hotel Villa Edy, and especially appreciated the warmth of the staff. The rooms were not large but had everything we needed. It was important to us to have effective air conditioning since we were visiting during a heat wave, and the air conditioning had no trouble keeping the room cool. “Actually, I booked a two-night stay on hotels from March 31st to April 2nd, but due to personal reasons, I only stayed for one night and then checked out. The hotel told me that the night I didn't stay could not be refunded, which I can understand and accept. But when I checked out the next day, the hotel charged me again. At that time, I thought that hotels plateform only deducted the money for one night, so I paid by credit card for another night. Now the situation is that I only stayed for……

“Wir waren das zweite Mal im La Darsena und waren wie beim letzten Besuch sehr zufrieden. Der Service ist super, alle Mitarbeitenden sind freundlich und hilfsbereit. Mit Englisch aber auch teilweise Deutsch kommt man sehr gut zurecht. Das Frühstück ist eine tolle Auswahl und auch ein Besuch im Restaurant am Abend ist ein absolutes Highlight. “We chose to spend a night here for our honeymoon. The hotel provides a very convenient—and free—shuttle service, which is incredibly thoughtful given that Varenna is a town nestled on a hillside. They can pick you up and drop off anytime from either the train station or the ferry pier ! The location is also perfect—right across from the church and just a short walk to the romantic lakeside path.
