"The only thing okay about this place was the AC. The staff was super nice but we didn’t like the place in general. There were way too many bugs, frogs and ants (even on our beds). The bathtub was dirty. The photos of swimming pool of this property on the internet are years old. It is a dirty pond now. There was no shampoo or shower gel (which is fine for the price you pay) but really spooky and untidy place. Fine for emergencies or just to sleep for a night."

"We loved our stay at The Palms! Overall, the hotel is very cute and clean. We really appreciated that the cleaning staff tidied our room for us everyday. The pool area was amazing and the location of the hotel could not be beat - just a 2 minute walk from the beach! We would definitely stay here again. My two recommendations for the room was that the walls could use some painting, there were some scuff marks. The room could also use more hooks, shelves, racks, and areas to hang and store items. Overall, very happy with the stay!"

"Myself and my group enjoyed immensely our stay at Villa Encanto! The property was amazing and beautiful! We enjoyed our lazy days at the house around and in the amazing pool enjoying our view and the howler monkeys that reside in the trees below. Alex was awesome! Extremely responsive when sent messages and questions. We are very excited to return sometime soon!! Highly recommend Villa Encanto!!"

"Our second outstanding stay at el mirador. The penthouse is a wonderful retreat and stay. The beach club and new second pool was a greatlil oaisis. The new second pool could benefit from some shade as it is toasty. I think the structure is there for thay just not roofed or thatched yet.Check in was easy and smooth, gatedaccess provides piece of mind,easy walk DOWN to town and shoos. However as all reviews to get to the top she is a steep climb so be prepared, car required which for us is standard in CR"
