I have been to this resort three times previously, all 10/10 visits. This visit was 1/10. I wrote a letter about everything that happens to couples after the conclusion of our stay. I did not receive a response. We will not be returning a fifth time to this resort, sadly.A simple response from the hotel would have gone a long way. Them fixing the issues would have gone a long way. But we never received that courtesy. Here is what went wrong, and the manager refused to fix. 1.We were given the wrong room. After telling them we knew the room was a downgrade, they offered the difference of the two rooms in the form of a refund, $125 a night plus tax. We agreed. Four days into the trip we received not even half of what was promised as a discount. After contacting Expedia, and a lengthy conversation with their manager we were told by both places that the other person has to refund the amount. I believe expedia since we were already lied to by couples 2.They lost our rewards info, this was our 4th visit, and 17th day visiting in the last four years. We received no romance rewards. 3.We did not have air conditioning 6/8 days. Everyday we were told someone would look at it and no one did. The sixth day they offered to move rooms and so we experienced two downgrades in one visit. 4 No one informed us there would be loud construction on the bar. Others had received the option to change their trip dates. Not us
