Staff was great, super accommodating very friendly. We needed to book an extra night that we didn’t plan for and they made it easy. It’s an older place built in the 60s very well maintained property with super comfortable beds and they seem to go out of their way to make our stay pleasant. Thank you we would definitely stay with you again. Also, very great location five minutes away for everything that you want to do.

The setting is so peaceful. We had deer wandering through every day. The high ceilings made the room feel large. We loved having the table and chairs by the window. Spacious bathroom with only one sink. They don’t have much water pressure but you can have a nice hot shower. The location is great. It is a short drive down to the water or up into town where you can find some great dining options

LOVED everything - location close to everything like the Pacific Ocean, dwn twn P.G. shops and restaurants, Butterfly Sanctuary, 17 Mile Drive, Monterey Aquarium, etc. etc. Quiet peaceful setting with massive trees, smell of eucalyptus in the air, visiting sweet deer, nice friendly staff and other quests - Also the nice high vaulted wood ceilings and large table by front window made it so comfortable and livable - add in fireplace (we did have some minor issues with that), TV, microwave, mini frig, coffee maker along with very good coffee and fresh water in office covered all the bases. Can't wait to come back - from MN THANK YOU

Property is older but clean. We had two beds in the two story building and it was excellent! Room and bathroom were big and roomy. Beds were so comfortable, fridge and tv worked excellently. Walls are pretty thin, we could hear our neighbors cough and the upstairs occupants having a conversation and later vacuuming. Staff was friendly and helpful. Property was quiet and centralized to many attractions. Overall we would definitely recommend staying here.

The property was charming. It was like stepping back in time. They ate dog friendly and it seems like everyone had a dog that was staying at the property. The little walking path behind the motel was nice!. The coffee in the office was great. I did have to wait until they opened every day at 8… Staff was friendly! We used the hot tub and it was nice. The pool and area was clean and nice. Pool was too chilly to swim. The room was okay. There was only one chair to sit on and it was the “desk chair.” Cute motel!

I loved everything about the property. The staff was friendly and helpful. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. Bathroom very clean. Good hot water. Has a tub if you need a bath rather than a shower. Plenty of places to put shampoo soap on the ledges. There was an ironing board and an iron, a nice walk in closet with plenty hangers and shelves. What I liked most was the quiet. There were two dogs next door that barked a bit but my own dogs bark too so that didn't bother me. Also, it is right next to the butterfly wintering over refuge. No butterflies in spring but a nice little walk through the paths. the hotel is in a little neighborhood with a lawn, very tall trees, birds and 4 small deer! so glad I came here rather than an 'in town' hotel. I would stay here again. parking was right next to the room and safe
