「The positive: The units are very nice and the location is excellent. The negative: checking in and the management. I waited for fifty minutes to check in because there was nobody at the reception desk. I called the number they provided and then emailed them and nobody responded. Eventually I was able to check in with the help of a person who I believe was the electrician (!). They were very friendly and helpful. The manager, however, never contacted me to offer an explanation or apologize. I...

「This is a complete unmanned/self-service hotel. If you don't have enough strength and persistence to walk up ~40 stairs with 20 kg luggage, don't choose this. Another impressive thing is that the stove top was packed in a box and placed on the top of the microwave (close to the ceiling). So, the only way of cooking in the room is by using microwave, in the perfect-looking kitchen! I understand that cooking with stove top may cause cleaning difficulties, but a great accommodation is not evaluated...

「Tammy was very accommodating. She moved a bureau out of the room so we could have a place for our bikes. Parking is tricky but we found a free spot a short walk away. There are two steep flights of stairs to the room. The sitting area and tea were most welcome. It was a very comfortable place to stay.」

「This was a very cool property in the lovely Mile-End neighborhood in Montreal! Lots of cafes and dining options nearby, and the amazing Joie de Livre bookstore is only a 10 minute walk away. The apartment was so cool- two bedrooms separated by stairs, and a full kitchen included. We loved staying here! Our host, Melissa, was very helpful and available to help with everything we needed. Merci for a wonderful stay and experience!!」

「L’espace sous la porte de ma chambre était si grand que j’avais l’impression d’être de la conversation de la concierge de nuit et de son visiteur, de 23:00 à 00:30. Pas de téléphone, pas de café, pas de lampe de chevet, gros meuble inutile obstruant, serviettes tachées. C’est un bâtiment à l’énorme potentiel, mais il manque dramatiquement d’amour.」
