“We had a peaceful extended weekend getaway at this property. The cottage was exactly as pictured and described. The location is perfect for anyone looking to enjoy the peace and quiet of nature. We spent a lot of time on the deck, watching the Muskegon River and listening to the song birds. We even heard a Barred Owl and saw some loons and a few deer. I also enjoyed the surrounding area. “We enjoyed our stay at the Ranger House. The lake was beautiful and fishing was decent. It’s an 8 min walk to the lake so we drove down for fishing. We had fun learning about the property’s previous owner Harry Bennett and looking for the previous Boy Scout buildings. Steve was easy to communicate with. Definitely recommend this rental! ”
