“Quiet comfortable room”

“Our stay was disappointing from the moment we arrived. We checked in during the evening when the hotel was not busy, yet we still had to wait several minutes because the front desk receptionist (I believe her name was Debby) was apparently at the gas station on the corner. During that time, the hotel entrance and desk were left completely unattended, which felt unsafe and unprofessional. Although this is advertised as a smoke-free property, the receptionist was smoking behind the counter, and……

“They are not pet friendly. They are pet tolerant. They will take $50 from you if you bring a pet. Exorbitant, excessive, unreasonable, and unflinching. I also have not yet been refunded my incidental charges deposit”

“The room was smaller than expected but fortunately we were only staying one night. The room didn’t seem to have enough insulation and it was a cold, windy night when we arrived. The heating system worked great but the bathroom remained cold even with the door left open. It was easy to complete the check-in process and receive our door code. The only suggestions I would make is for more areas in the bathroom for supplies, maybe a small shelf and more drinking cups, only 2 were provided.”

“I stayed at Hotel on Monroe, BW Signature Selection with my son, and unfortunately the room fell well below expected standards. Cleanliness was the biggest issue. The floors were so dirty that after walking around barefoot, the bottoms of my feet were literally black. It quickly became clear that housekeeping had missed more than a few key steps. The shower was another challenge. It was partially broken and made showering feel like a test of patience rather than a basic amenity. Add to that……

“Glitter on one of the beds, no table or chair, only available outlet was behind one of the beds and a hole in the wall where possibly a smoke detector might have been. Did have a half sized mini fridge, full size microwave on top of it and coffee pot on top of that, towels and cable tv.”

“Had a good stay at the La Quinta Inn in Batavia. The room was spacious and comfortable, and I really liked the bed. The location worked well for me since it was about an hour from Niagara Falls and around 30 minutes from Rochester where I attended a graduation. Breakfast was decent — the usual bagels, eggs, juice, fruit, etc. Nothing fancy, but everything was clean and good. Also convenient area with coffee shops and restaurants nearby.
