The location was perfect, the history of the building was fascinating, the rooms were surprisingly large, apartment like and beyond my expectations, and the staff were so kind and helpful. It’s with mixed emotions that I would not hesitate to recommend this place - I fear if too many people stay here there may not be a room for me the next time I’m in Florence. “Benci House is a beautifully decorated guesthouse in an excellent location, just a few steps from all the main attractions. There is a shared space at the entrance with a lounge area and a coffee machine always available. It doesn’t have a traditional hotel reception; communication with the hosts is done via WhatsApp. For anything you need, you can also reach out to the staff at the café downstairs, where breakfast is served. A tip: if you have paid for breakfast, it is served from 9:00 a.m. as……
