"You must stay at this hotel! Not only is the location absolutely perfect, the room is so smartly designed and the beds were so comfortable. The decor was absolutely fantastic as well. Despite its location, the hotel was very quiet. The staff were super wonderful and helpful, and gave us great recommendations for food and drink along with some fun history about Edinburgh (shout out to Martin). Would stay here again 10/10"

"The room was spacious enough . There was an armchair and a place to leave my big suitcase open.The bed was very comfortable . The double glazing is good and really the curtains are thick enough not to let any light . There was a kettle which was very convenient .and the lighting was good ..The staff at the reception and the cleaning staff were friendly and efficient.The airport tram is 5mn away and the station7 mn. The location is perfect."

"The room was clean, modern and spacious. The staff were friendly and attentive. Would definitely stay again. The VIP benefit was not discussed when we checked in, I had to ask about it. There were no notes on the system. I was given this benefit but only because I was a previous customer who had stayed at Aoex hotels on numerous occasions. "

"The hotel was excellent, it was really modern and well located. The rooms were very clean and comfortable (we had a courtyard facing room which was also very quiet). The reception staff were very friendly, helpful and had excellent local knowledge. The choice and quality of breakfast was exceptional and again, the staff were very pleasant and helpful. Prior to our stay, we couldn’t find any information on the hotel website regarding car parking, so paid £9 to park opposite the hotel for about 5 minutes while we checked in. We then found out that and the hotel has an arrangement with the St James shopping centre car park, and they offer a large is discount for hotel customers. "
