2 days for elevator Repair
Rented this property to celebrate my birthday with family. 2 of them over 80 so the elevator was the reason I booked this property. When we arrived we found many broken or missing items which I reported the the property agency. The ping pong table isn’t there. So it should be removed from the listing if it hasn’t been already. 3 days in, on my birthday, the alarm on the elevator goes off. I spend hours with the rental agency getting it turned off. The next day it goes off again…more hours talking with the owner regarding “how it happened” and all the details. Dishes were put away dirty. Never were able to get the tv on the second floor to work. Broken glasses in cabinets and on shelves. And the fridge on the top floor stopped working. This was all due to a power interruption that we were unaware of and took another day to fix. The elevator alarm went off the following day as well. Another power failure. We left a day early!
On the great side, it is a beautiful property in a nice location. The decor is wonderfully eclectic and beachy! Something to see at every turn. It is obvious the owner put a lot of thought and expense to make it very comfortable. However, renters have done noticeable damage.
