"This property was spotless! For one day of our visit, my husband went fly fishing and I stayed to enjoy being at the property. Our unit was near the parking lot and it was even so quiet on this day. In the dining area, there is peaceful music playing indoor and outdoor. So nice to have a refrigerator that is large in the room that can hold leftovers from restaurants and also food from your travel cooler. I highly recommend the McKinley Edwards Inn!"

"The Tapoco Lodge is absolutely beautiful and the staff was amazing. The cabin we stayed in felt like everything was antique but somehow still new. My only complaint was that Expedia allowed me to book it as a pet-friendly room when the actual room I chose wasn’t pet-friendly. The Tapoco honored the reservation anyway and took care of us. They were terrific. My wife is already asking if we can stay here again. "

"The Lodge had charcoal, lighter fluid, and lighter ready the grill; there were also firestarters for the fire pits; a Blackstone hooked up and ready to go; AC set nice and cold…etc. Very well planned for nobody around in the office our entire four days. It’s like magic fairies came each day to reset while we were out."

"My family and I came to the area for a weekend getaway to take our son to ride the Polar Express in Bryson City and stayed at the Lodge for 2 nights… and I could say the stay was definitely not long enough! It was a beautiful and quaint little lodge that was tucked away in the wilderness!! "Cute and clean little cabin feel. We loved having the comforts of a place to land after a day of adventures. We appreciated the mini kitchenette for having some meals in and the outdoor amenities were amazing. We cooked some wonderful food on the Blackstone grill, and enjoyed the fire pit on the evening it wasn't raining. Lots of great conversations and company. "We absolutely loved this cabin and the location, in the woods to feel very secluded yet 2 miles from town. Very quiet and peaceful, the outside creek was awesome for exploring and just listening to nature. Cabin was very clean and well supplied. We enjoyed the hot tub outside under the patio lights and the stars. This cabin is perfect for a mountain getaway!"
