“We booked a room for the Labor Day weekend. The beds were very comfortable, and the breakfast was decent with a standard menu. The room was also decent-sized. However, I would have given the hotel fewer stars due to the amenities. There’s no elevator, and the bathroom door had a solid wooden sliding door that didn’t close fully. This was extremely difficult to close with kids, and I had to explain the situation to the Manager of duty the previous night. Unfortunately, he couldn’t fix the door……

“The price was excellent and pretty clean overall, but the interior of room 4 was lacking. The ceiling fan in the bathroom was missing/opening exposed with tape over the light switch not to use it. There also was a musty smell in the room. The pillows were old and lumpy. Also, some normal preventative maintenance is not being accomplished. For example, there are plants/weeds growing in the gutters on that side of the motel. This means they are slap full with compacted soil because they have been……

“We loved the property and the location. It is one of those places that manage to feel like home and a getaway at the same time. Very well furnished and the decor was awesome. You can tell the owners would want to live there too. Comfy beds and furniture. Love love loved the outdoor amenities. The board games were so fun for our group. Thank you for sharing your cabin with us. We definitely left with good memories!”
