「Our stay at the Barn at Huffman Creek Retreat was nothing short of incredible. 「Cozy cabin, the hot tub takes time to warm up - turn it on immediately upon arrival and turn off eco mode to use it the first evening. The view is wonderful. Bring bug spray! Watch out for wildlife, we came upon a possible water moccasin over 3 feet long on the trails. 」

「The cabin isn’t actually on the lake, or you don’t have a view of it too goo. This cabin is literally on top of the world! Lots of winding narrow roads up the mountain in order to get to it. There is not any stores or places to eat close by so definitely pack food or eat before you get to the cabin. Overall was very nice place to stay and away from the city.」

「Enjoyed the weekend but so many spiders in the cabin. Yes it’s in the mountains but you would have hoped that huge webs would have been cleaned out of the shower before we arrived. We did not shower. Moved nightstand to plug-in phone charger again huge cobwebs. Cabin with surface cleaned, but definitely has not had a deep cleaning in a while. 「It's a cabin in a delightful enclave of nicer houses on a beautiful lake. Access to the lake is limited, but the accommodations are nice, and the area is beautiful. The hosts were very helpful, and the place was rustic, simple, and clean.」
