Nanto Historic Hotel

"Room was excellent in size and cleanliness. Staff was also very courteous and helpful most of the time. The dining room staff was outstanding. The one major faux pas was that my misplaced her walking cane somewhere in the hotel during our initial check in. We were staying for four nights but the cane was not found. However, two days later, we received an email indicating they had located the cane. The message did not indicate where the item was located but we were leaving Japan in two days so that notification was of no consequence. I tried to respond to their message but was not able to do so in English, although the message from the hotel was written in both Japanese and English. "

"Beautiful, although starting to show a little wear and tear in age in the rooms and not very soundproof as there was banging going on but overall a lovely stay. Staff were attentive, polite and pristine. Breakfast was varied and lots to choose from in the buffet. No laundry available. Well located with easy access to everything we needed including the station."

"Very nice experience. Only issue was that the private bath was already booked out by the time we checked in, but the public baths were fine."

"Room is spacious. Osens have similar temperature, not particularly appealing."

"The stuff were very polite and kind. I definitely love the breakfast every morning. The train and bus station are a few minutes away and The Forus shopping mall is next to the hotel. I definitely recommend it. They also do lauggage delivery to your next hotel. "
