“Regretfully no instructions were given about breakfast so missed it entirely. The person managing the property also manages another so is frequently not there for guidance. Having said that, if you enjoy staying in an 1800’s Victorian house and the architecture of that era, this is the place for you. But, should you run into the manager, be sure to ask your questions then because you may not see her again, including where to park, which is best in the back.”

“Upon our arrival, we were welcomed with a home-made creme brulee and friendly conversation. Our host provided advice and assistance in deciding on the right place to have dinner. And the next morning's breakfast, eggs benedict, was excellent. Our room was comfortable and clean, and the area's tranquility contributed to a good night's sleep. “We were greeted by the owners, John and Linda and given a tour and history of the building. The room that we stayed in was very clean, the bed was comfy and the bathroom was nice and modern. The breakfast was gourmet! Homemade waffles, bacon, a poached pear, arugula salad with kiwi and blueberries and homemade cinnamon scones with lemon curd and clotted cream! Decadent to say the least.
