"The room and bathroom were very clean. There was homemade cinnamon apple bread and fresh fruit in the room when we arrived. The deck was nice and you could see the water and marina. We used the hot tub a couple times and it felt great. We also talked to our host, Cindy, a few times, she was awesome and recommended a few different restaurants and markets. We were there for four nights and will probably be back! "

"I liked the comfy beds, the very nice primary bathroom (especially the shower which is equipped with double shower heads and handheld shower heads), and the kitchen. The Keurig with provided pods was convenient. The host was very promptly responsive to my questions and came over with space heaters when the furnace needed resetting, which was done within a few hours by the technician without disturbing us. The view of the river was nice. We watched swans and sailboats go by. Just be aware that there are no window coverings on most of the windows in the main area. You enter the house through the basement and up a steep flight of stairs to the kitchen. That can be awkward with luggage and groceries but of course you could go up and then unlock the front door from inside. The one thing I’d like to see is a pitcher in the kitchen. I like to keep a pitcher of iced tea in the fridge but we couldn’t find one so we made do with a quart measuring cup. "
