"We had the most wonderful time staying here at Cottage in the Woods! This charming bed and breakfast was absolutely delightful and lovely in every way. The hosts are so warm, friendly, knowledgeable, and accommodating. The setting was peaceful, breakfast was delicious, and it has great proximity to Ricketts Glen parking areas. Mother's Day weekend stay
"My sister & I stayed at the Woodlands as we did not want to travel the 1 hour plus home after the concert at the Mohegan Sun center. We had an early check-in time which allowed us to have an early dinner before the show in the Japanese restaurant in the Woodlands. Fortunately, The Woodlands is only a 10 minute car ride from the Arena!! This made the trip to and from so easy! After the show, we stopped in the sports bar for a late-night snack of wood-fired pizza and some adult beverages! One big surprise was as we were heading to our room around 12:30-1 am, a member of the housekeeping staff got on the elevator with us! In all of my travels, never have I encountered housekeeping staff at that time of night - a nice surprise! The room was clean, beds were comfortable, bathroom was clean - everything that makes a trip a success! Staff was helpful and friendly. I would definitely book another stay at The Woodlands if the need arose, and would recommend it to friends and family . Overall, a very successful trip! "
