「Loud noise and vibration from something. No one in reception as stated but dailing 0 in information pack did not work and emergency number went unanswered after trying for a few minutes and all I got was a sorry.」

The food was of a high quality and the service was very good except on one of our three evenings when we were forgotten about and it took at least three complaints to get our meal started. On this occasion we were in the restaurant for about two hours and it took 45 minutes before we got our starter. This was a shame because otherwise everything was perfect.」

「We arrived and wasn't too sure which of the pubs we were staying in. One of the girls was really helpful. The room was extremely small but absolutely not an issue. It was relatively clean, the only thing's that were a bit of a put off - the stains on the chair in the room, cooling fan covered thick in dust, bath matt was mouldy and the bathroom had black mould on the ceiling. Despite this the bedding and towels were all nice and clean. Weve never had a shower so hot before in any hotel which...

「We stayed at Old Posting Inn for 2 nights as wanted to explore the lake District area. We wanted a quiet, quaint village as our base, and the Inn was perfect for our needs. The dinner was excellent and the hosts were lovely. The location itself is15 mins from Cockermouth town centre, 30-40 mins from Kewsick, and 45 mins from Buttermere. All in all, it was a perfect holiday for us, and we will come again!」
