“Beautiful porch, overlooking the north end of the beach, with tables & chairs for guests. Two buildings, we stayed in the back 3 floor walk up. The rooms were clean & well kept with balcony & chairs outside your door. Motel staff was friendly & helpful. We will return.”

I've been staying at The Hampton House Hotel for the last 6 years and I'll be looking forward to my next stay! Great location across from the beach and walking distance to the strip with all the restaurants and bars.”

“Check in is at exactly 4pm, no earlier. They will email you if you'd prefer an early check in, pay $30. But I did see guests had paid and still waited til after 4 to check in. Front staff at reception there was one woman who was very rude and non welcoming. Right at 4pm there was a huge line of guests waiting to check in. Not very smooth or ideal way to have guests arriving.”

“This was the worst hotel I ever made a reservation in. No handicap excessable anything. Grounds and stairway were filthy. I did not stay there. I am trying to get my money back. Right now I would never recommend the hotel to anyone. If I do not get my refund back because I did not stay there. I notified the hotel that I was not staying there and they told me to contact Expedia. I have now appealed to my credit card company.”

“We booked this property to attend 2026 Laconia Bike Week. We were so disappointed with our room that we checked out early. Neither the front door to our room nor the windows closed completely; gaps allowed light, heat, and noise into the room. We found old, half-empty beer cans in our room upon arrival. Room-darkening drapes were missing. There were 2 sets of drape empty drape tracks with pull strings. Horizontal window blinds did not even fit the windows. The closet door swing freely, off its……

“Beds were clean and comfy but rest of room and hotel are not. Soft spots in hall way. Smoke smell coming inside from people sitting outside at all hours smoking. Very thin walls can hear other people. Bathroom walls were not clean, and tub was chipped, and there are cracks and gaps throughout room walls and ceiling. It was one of our only options, not worth the money and I won't go back.”
