Top New York Hotel Reviews

Arlo Midtown
10/10 Excellent
"AC was broken but the staff was quick to fix it"

Hilton Garden Inn New York Times Square South
10/10 Excellent
"Very clean hotel where everything works and is easy."

Hotel Edison Times Square
2/10 Terrible
"The front desk charged $45 per night, not mentioned on my booking.
I was given a $45 voucher for breakfast, a very stingy one - actually the money returned to their restaurant, for a breakfast estimated at less than $10 - and they ask me to pay extra $6.5 only to sit on a table to have my breakfast. "

Pod Times Square
10/10 Excellent
"First, let me say this trip was sort of planned… I decided to come to New York during Tartan Week (and it did not disappoint!). I went with Pod Times Square because it was close to a lot of the events I was planning to attend as well as traveling back home. While Times Square is not for me I was close to a lot of amazing locations I wanted to visit and since Pod Times Square was in walking distance in Hell’s Kitchen, this was a good spot to pick.
Staff was friendly, professional and upbeat from the front desk getting me checked in and settled to housekeeping coming by and making sure I have everything I need (thank you ladies, I appreciate you so much!); I would definitely stay here again because it was CLEAN!
I missed out on checking out the amenities they had to offer, however, I did briefly check out the bar/restaurant (looked SO cute!) because I needed a fork for my leftovers. Anyway, on my last day, I had to end up coming back and staying an extra day due to a hiccup in my travels back home. Sahar and Juan were so helpful to let me stay an extra night in my same room when I returned. Truly, God bless you both so much for helping me out!
Now, it is New York so don’t expect the rooms to be big, especially the closer into the city you get. If you want bigger you’ll have to stay a wee bit further out or closer to residential areas. I stayed on the 22nd floor in a room with a full/queen bed and I was comfy!
Okay, thank you New York; see you again, soon!"

Doubletree by Hilton New York Times Square South
8/10 Good
"Rooms so small!!!! But everyone courteous & very helpful."

Hotel St. James
10/10 Excellent
"Room was clean, I did the double, it was a small space but perfect for my stay. I liked the old school charm of the place but at the same time everything was well maintained and clean.
Air conditioner worked totally fine my room actually got pretty chilly but it was easy to adjust so not an issue.
Didn’t have a USB charging port in the room which I was a little surprised by but I was able to charge my phone by plugging it in to the tv so not an actual issue.
Staff held my luggage even post checkout to give more time in the city without lugging around which was super nice. I’d stay here again."

Park Central Hotel New York
10/10 Excellent
"Great location, great staff, clean room, huge bed.
Now for the bad. If you dont like city noise, select your room carefully. Windows definitely are not soundproof or even slightly noise reducing, street noise (sirens, horns, etc.) was prevalent all night, but hey, it is the city! Other issue is lack of elevators. Be prepared to wait!
Overall though, excellent experience and great location just south of central park next to Columbus Circle and Carnegie Hall."

PUBLIC, an Ian Schrager hotel
8/10 Good
"TV not plugged in, remote needed new batteries"

NEW YORKER BY LOTTE HOTELS
6/10 Okay
"The staff were excellent. However, the property was very rundown, even though we were in a newly renovated room. A lot of excess charges and taxes, and the icing on the cake was being charged $5.00 per each piece of luggage stored. This is a very busy part of town, so be prepared to wear noise canceling headphones at night."
