"Welcome was average, just going through the motions. Club room was furnished with some taste, although a bit of wear was showing on furniture. Bathroom fan not working, which drives me mad but I’ve given up complaining to any hotel as it’s so common. I know these things burn out easily when lights are left on permanently so it’s an occupational hazard for the hotels; I do sympathise a little. Bed very comfortable; good nights sleep and great views of the bridge. Didn’t eat breakfast as I travel...

"Arrived by train and the hotel was just a few minutes walk away. The guy who checked us in was super friendly and efficient. The rooms were newly refurbished, fresh and clean. The standard room offered bath robes and slippers which was a nice touch as you don’t usually get those in a standard room. Great value and we would definitely stay again."

"Not sure how the hotel maintains the 4*status. The bar staff on the second day was great. They managed to get us a burger from the evening menue an hour before the lunch menue finished. Highly appreciated. The breakfast was for £16 p.P. A bit pricey for what it was. The superior room was 11qm with a bathroom where the fan didn’t work and the walls were wet. "
