"The only thing that saved our visit was Carmen. She was so kind, so patient, so willing to help us enjoy our stay. She deserves a promotion, a bonus, a raise, something. When we checked in the elevator reeked of weed and was not operating smoothly. Upon walking into our room there were stains all over the couch and the floor and walking into the bathroom there was a cockroach right on top of the toilet paper. The room smelled musty and dirty. Carmen helped us move into another room to which there were massive dark and dirty rings in the rug from where the door had been opened and closed. The room was still foul smelling and musty. The bathtub do not drain so there was standing water when you showered and the shower curtain itself was ripped and torn. This property needs a massive overhaul. Carmen was the real saving grace here."

"Upon checking in the toilet in my room pretty immediately started gushing. It actually leaked through the ceiling to the reception desk below. The staff was very nice and did their best to take care of it. They quickly moved me to another room. The property wasn't very clean or in great shape."

"Black Mold in ceiling and bathroom, gnats flying around coming out of bathroom sink….my first room the walls were dirty, door handle came detached and no tv wires hanging as if something was stolen it did not work No microwave…….no fridge…….no coffee and surely no breakfast….thank God for Dennys…..there was constant police activity from drug and prostitution on this property They refused to refund me so I could get something else and I couldn’t afford to just let them keep my $$$$$"

"The breakfast buffet was very good, although I was under the impression it was included with the room, but I obviously misunderstood. So breakfast was $50 for 2 people. You can order from the menu instead, which we did in day 2, but it was still $50. If you are a big eater, it's worth it. You do get a lot. The bar is very over priced too, but that's what you get from a hotel bar. Pappadeaux is right next door & drinks were $3 less. We did order food from the bar as well & it was very good. I would stay here again."

"Stayed at la Quinta this property is central to most things I needed. Price was affordable. Walmart is close if your traveling with a family restaurants arent to far away either. The property needs a deep clean visibly dirty curtains you can see from outside of the building. Carpets could use a steam cleaning and floor two smells like it was flooded previously. The staff are friendly never walked inside without a greeting and never came back without a greeting. We didnt come down for breakfast so cant speak to that also did not use pool or hot tub. Beds are comfortable AC pumps great.Parking is free watch out for raccoons. If property had a deep cleaning we would definitely stay again. "

"The room was nice and very clean. The beds were extremely comfortable. The breakfast buffet is overpriced for what was offered. The food was not terrible but not great. The front desk staff employees were very helpful and friendly and knowledgeable. "
