“Brilliant location right on the front, super easy walk to the Metro and very close to the beach (down some steps). Andrew was very friendly and gave us loads of information about the local area and things to see and do. ”

“Would usually book a hotel as moving child to Newcastle Uni but due to home match and lots of other parents moving their kids in, hotels were thin on the ground! Picked the apartments and was pleasantly surprised. Ticked all the boxes and great to have a small kitchen. Had everything we needed. Only criticism would be a lack of bedside table/shelf and the sofa wasn’t the comfiest but it was all clean and functional. Will def recommend. ”

“Lage: Das Cottage liegt etwa 80 km vom Flughafen Newcastle entfernt – mitten im Nirgendwo, und genau das macht den Reiz aus. Absolute Ruhe, kein Licht in der Nacht – ideal für Sternenbeobachtung oder Nachtfotografie! Die Zufahrtsstraße ist eher ein Feldweg – wenn dir hier jemand entgegenkommt, wird’s spannend. Direkt unterhalb des Cottages liegt eine alte Ruine – vielleicht ehemalige Stallungen oder ein Lagerhaus? Niemand weiß es genau. Bis nach Bamburgh sind es ca. 2 km, zur Burg etwa 4 km, und……

“Ideally located for Hadrian's Wall walkers and next to Milecastle Inn, we enjoyed one night's stay here. Very comfortable and we would probably choose to stay here for several nights if walking the national trail again. ”

“This place was lovely. Clean and bright. Instructions to get in and once inside were very helpful. The only thing that bothered me was the 3 bins of glass bottles, mostly alcohol bottles that were over flowing onto the ground outside the gate, in the parking lot. They were there the day we checked in , already overflowing and only got worse as we stayed for 4 days. They should look into that because otherwise this place was everything we wantes while on our vacation. Lovely!!”
