“We really appreciated Erik's flexibility and understanding! We unfortunately had to cancel our trip last minute due to a hurricaine forecast to hit in the middle of our trip. We found that our trip insurance would not cover cancellation unless our flight was cancelled or if we were on the island when the storm hit (which we did not want to risk). “We had a fantastic stay! We rented one bedroom of the unit. It was clean, well decorated, and had what we needed for two of us for a week. The bed was comfortable, shower was spacious, and lanai was very enjoyable to relax on. Hanalei Bay Resort is impossible to beat with world class views and the very relaxing waterfall-surrounded lagoon pool. The hosts were fantastic - we had one issue with the coffee maker, but they immediately ordered us a new one and compensated us completely for the money……
