"Very good location for a short walk into Montville. Our room was large and clean but oddly arranged. The location of the furniture and fixtures was inconvenient. "

"The front office staff was excellent and very helpful. Room was large and beds super clean and comfortable. Toilets/bath were clean but old and most probably need an update. The cleaning staff did a great job. More than sufficient tea and coffee supplies. The location is great, opposite the gardens."

"Love this hotel and have stayed many times. Unfortunately our room had a shower over the bath which we’ve never had before when staying, always walk in shower. This was difficult for my husband due to knee problems. Suggest checking if this may also be difficult for you. When mentioned to reception at check out we were told they would have changed our room if we had told them. "

"Loved pool, would be good if pool little warmer, but that’s just personal preference. Did not affect enjoyment "
