"Check in about 2pm slightly earlier than the standard 3pm Check in. Very nice guy that checked me in and was very helpful and kindly upgraded me to a Club Room but wasn’t allowed to use any of the Club benefits as it was an upgrade. With Hilton and IHG if you get upgraded then you get the amenities of the level you are upgraded too. Room was clean and WiFi fast. The TV was a 65” Samsung which offered chrome casting so I could watch YouTube. Bed was very uncomfortable and the pillows very hard. The room was very hot due to the sun hitting the glass windows but the air conditioning sadly didn’t work. Bathroom was very old fashioned and the shower water pressure was poor. Nice location but not value for money and the hotel needs urgent renovation."
