“I am a frequent traveler and can say from experience that the room we were given was not up the expectations. Mimslyn is advertised as a quality hotel yet our bathroom was not clean. The shower floor was dirty and we complained to the front desk but we were told they were fully booked and could not move us. The desk clerk made no effort to assist us. The bar food was terrible but the Sunday brunch was worth the cost. That is our only recommendation.”

“I was in DC for 8 days for the 250 celebrations and sight-seeing, staying at the Sofitel Hotel. The breakfast is very small in size, expensive and absolutely terrible.there are plenty of much better options nearby. The room was professionally skillfully cleaned daily. however, the ancient TV set was hang crooked and looked beat up. The location is excellent near all the action, however the hotel is very dated the elevators are slow and creaky. It seems rundown for a "five star" designation and……
