“Lovely pub close to Blickling Hall. Everyone made us feel very welcome and did everything to help us. Nothing was too much trouble. Rooms very comfortable and food tasty and plentiful! Staff extremely friendly. Would definitely return.”

“The room was clean beds comfortable en suite good. Cleaned every day biscuits tea replenished daily. Tha accommodation is on a busy road and many lorries till midnight and again from 5am very noisy if windows open which is necessary as no air conditioning in the room.”

“Room spacious, condiments & bedding dirty, shower head kept coming off, needed extra pillows, bed was really low and showed dirty marks on sheets etc, couldn’t get a breakfast, staff were rude when asked for more pillows etc and asking why questions. ”

“We were given room 4, apparently it has an Infamous reputation as the lad who looks after the hotel called a few hours before check-in to ask if we wanted to find alternative accommodation due to the amount of complaints they have about this room. Unfortunately Hotels.com were not especially helpful in changing our booking and we were about to set off so opted to just keep the room. It is at the top of the hotel, 4 flight of stairs up. There is no bathroom, you have to share the one on the 2nd……

“Upgraded to the Studio. Good communication, lovely accommodation with well appointed clean kitchen and bathroom. Friendly, welcome from the owner. ”

“Helpful staff. Sorted out parking. Table broken in room. Shower no pressure, dribbled out. Room fan very poor, very little air coming out even at high speed. Complimentary bodywash and shampoo so small not worth open the packed.”

“Well located. Owner friendly and helpful. Room had a fan (no aircon) which was tricky in the June 26 heatwave. Probably fine in normal weather.”
