"Our room was ready on time. We had a problem with the TV. Ryan, the maintenance person, went out of his way to fix it. There was a problem with the network co. and would have to wait for them to come out and fix it. Teresa, front desk manager, moved us into another room immediately. She was so accommodating. She went above and beyond to ensure the guests had everything they needed. She handled a very busy front desk with a smile on her face. Karen, front desk, was also very pleasant and helpful. The hot breakfast was great. And the staff was superb. We will be returning soon."

"The room was pretty Musty smelling. I was stuffed up until I went outside. But otherwise the room was fine. We swam 3 different times and 2 of the times we were completely alone! One time a couple and there little kids were there about 15 minutes. We were in the back of the building so it's lower level. Nice fire pit and chairs outside your door. You can walk across the back lawn to the Distillery next door which was nice. Only complaint is that they need to get that Musty smell out of the rooms. But the room was clean and fresh bedding. We would stay here again."

"Hotel Galena exceeded our expectations. The hotel was conveniently located within easy walking distance to the downtown shops and restaurants. The property, located in an old historic building, was clean and attractive and the rooms were renovated, modern and quiet while still maintaining the historic charm of the original building. The owner, Nate was friendly and helpful, offering tips on local sites to visit and restaurants to try. We felt welcomed and would definitely stay at Hotel Galena on a future visit to the area."

"This was our second time in this property (but the first in a few years). It was perfect for our family of 6. Communication on the check-in process was great with lots of good information about the property - access, parking, recommendations, etc. Everything was clean and ready to go throughout. The location is great. It is a short walk to Main St and basically in the middle of the whole strip so both ends are a short walk. Check out was simple and clear as well. We would gladly stay again."

"The house is in the best location for visiting Galena. One block off Main Street made it great! The house was very clean and as described in the listing. We were a group of 7 and loved it! 10/10 recommend adding wig night to your next trip agenda. So much fun and we got lots of compliments at dinner and on Main St."
