"We were looking for somewhere quiet to relax at the end of the day. This fit us perfectly. My husband and I both became ill and remained so almost the entirety of our stay. Irene, the owner was so accommodating- providing fresh lemons, mint, honey, mineral water. I do believe she would have done anything for us! The accommodation had everything we needed and it was just a lovely little place to rest and relax. The courtyard was my favorite and I spent many hours reading and enjoying the birdsong...

"We had an amazing time on our family vacation to Carmel. The Pocket residence was in a perfect location walking distance to everything. The apartment was beautiful, welcoming and very comfortably accommodated our immediate and extended family members to be a central hub to hang out the entire duration of our stay. Everyone enjoyed the golf simulator and accompanying games as well! So fun!"

"This unit is small but quite suitable for a couple/individual. It's very close to Lover's Point and the Ocean Blvd walking path. We walked over to Lighthouse Ave Starbucks and enjoyed the beautiful historical homes along the way. We also walked to the Grove easily for supplies. The only problem for us was not enough heat. The portable heater was fine in the bedroom."

"Where should I start! We booked for three weeks and we only received one set of towels. Really! The bottom sheet on the bed was the wrong size or depth and we ended up sleeping on the plastic mattress cover. I went out and bought a set of sheets! We have family in the area So we borrowed towels from them. The drain in the shower got clogged and the owner asked us to clean it out. Apparently it must happen all the time and he has done nothing to correct the problem. The draw that the silverware...

"Our hosts were very accommodating from the start with our request for slightly early check in. Sorry for the trouble 🙂. We found the place had many unexpected conveniences like updated appliances (washer/dryer, dishwasher, compactor, etc) and more than enough supplied linens, towels etc. than we ever needed for for our 1 week stay. Super clean and the bed was comfortable too. They’re many special touches by like live plants and decorations made it feel like home to us. So, just what we needed...

"This very sweet motel is smack dab in the middle of Carmel Valley close to restaurants and wine tasting rooms. It is extremely convenient, safe, and comfortable. The staff go above and beyond to try to make your stay as wonderful as possible. They are very generous with Keurig pods, water, and little things that are nice to have in a motel like wine opener and cheese knife. Don't hesitate to stay in this truly lovely motel."
