Loved the indoor and outdoor kitchens as one of our family members is a fine dining chef and we all enjoy cooking. "We had a nice stay. There are several comfortable outdoor spaces for sitting and enjoying the woodsy setting. The view would be lovely, but was difficult to enjoy from inside as the big picture window was cloudy (not dirty, but due to a defective seal, usually covered under warranty and easily fixable). The interior was clean, comfortable and stylishly decorated. Hosts were very helpful and communicative."

"This was a perfect home/location for our long weekend while my daughter and I ran the Big Sur Marathon!! The hot tub was a great bonus after all the hills!! The home is so quaint and cozy and had everything we needed! Would definitely recommend this home and will consider it for next year if we run the marathon again! Location was perfect, we were able to walk to downtown Pacific Grove and the walkway along the ocean. Parking was no problem all weekend."

"This house is perfect for a family stay in the Monterey area. We loved having a fenced in area for the dogs to be let out. The house is comfortable, the beds were great, the communication was prompt and friendly. They had bowls and bed, etc for the dogs, it was a nice touch. The neighborhood itself wasn’t the best for dog walking, not much grass/yards there and my husband was followed by an unattended loose pit bull the first time he walked them. "This very sweet motel is smack dab in the middle of Carmel Valley close to restaurants and wine tasting rooms. It is extremely convenient, safe, and comfortable. The staff go above and beyond to try to make your stay as wonderful as possible. They are very generous with Keurig pods, water, and little things that are nice to have in a motel like wine opener and cheese knife. Don't hesitate to stay in this truly lovely motel."
