SCAM property, No communication from host.
My family and I had really looked forward to staying at this property on March 29-31, 2024, however, on the day of my stay no instructions of how to gain access to the property was given. I tried reaching out to the host by phone and email, that was provided by the VRBO app, no response. To say I was disappointed is a understatement, what was supposed to be a phenomenal, adventure filled weekend turned out to be the complete opposite. VRBO & I tried reaching out to the host on multiple occasions, and to no avail. Moving forward I will stick with booking a hotel. I had to use the money I put aside for amusement parks for my family a safe place to stay when I had already spent a healthy penny on my “suppose” to be 2 night stay at this residence. Driving over 300 miles to be disappointed and without a place to stay is definitely what will have me never book with VRBO again. On Day 2 of my supposed stay, the host emails me concerning details on checking out, when they never gave information on how to enter the property. VRBO & this host is a SCAM. This is literally my first time booking with VRBO, and my last. Here it is Day 3 and still no refund from VRBO.. MY FAMILY YEARLY VACATION WAS RUINED!
