The activity room was closed the water slides which were the main reason we decided to stay there closed. Hot tub was freezing. It was extremely loud even during quiet hours. When I said something to the staff they did nothing so it made getting an infant to sleep impossible. Housekeeping did do a great job though I will give them that.

Unfortunately the hotel is not what the photos show slides were shut down (no water park ) and hot tub was freezing cold. The first and only night we stayed there was a fight of some sort at 4:30 AM outside our room. There complimentary ride to SeaWorld left my family stranded. We called the front desk which said they would call him and an hour later we were still there waiting, so we took an uber back to the hotel. Lastly, we checked out after one night due to arriving home after SeaWorld to roaches in our room.

Our experience at the hotel was mixed, leaning toward disappointing due to several outdated features and maintenance issues. The continental breakfast was quite basic and didn’t start until later in the morning, which didn’t align with our schedule—we noticed signs advertising an upgraded option for $9.99, but we opted out. The room appeared clean at first glance, but after showering, I discovered the floors were surprisingly dirty, leaving the soles of my feet dark brown by bedtime. Amenities were limited: there was no refrigerator, only a microwave and coffee maker. The ceiling fan wouldn’t turn on, and the TV remote was non-functional, forcing me to navigate channels using the TV’s built-in buttons. My daughter was excited about the water park, but it closed at 6 PM, and since we arrived close to closing time, we weren’t provided passes. We were informed of a heated pool as an alternative, but it felt quite chilly—though she still had fun splashing around. Overall, the property feels very dated, and these shortcomings make it unlikely we’d choose to stay here again. A bit more attention to cleanliness, functionality, and guest convenience could go a long way.

The first room we were given had a dead bold lock that was cracked in half and re-screwed together. After requesting a new room, I was given a non smoking room that smelled of stale smoke. It was about 10pm when the vents started allowing marijuana odor into the room for the next 8 hours. The hotel charged a resort fee of 32$ that was for the pool and water slides. The water park was closed with caution tape, no water and concrete bags placed throughout. Let’s talk homeless, I counted 6 people on my walk around the property sitting in cars smoking weed, two sitting in the woods shooting heroin and what I can only describe as a full blown homeless encampment in the bushes. The pictures are not a real representation of this property. Please look elsewhere. Please

This place does not look like it is advertised. It is absolutely filthy. We found bugs in the shower and on the floor. Dirt and grime on the walls, doors, and light switches. Even the desk was dirty with finger prints. I did not stay in the room for 5 minutes. They do not answer their phone or emails and they charged me the full stay and an additional $100 which I have no idea what it was for.

We stayed 6 days total and they never came to the room to do housekeeping. I asked why they weren’t doing the service, and they told me they clean the room every three days. I said, “Okay, but it’s already been more than three days,” and they told me they were going to come… and they never did.

Breakfqst was terrible. No room service for 3 days. First day super high volume tv all night from next room could not sleep, try to call front d3sk and room phone was disconnected. Avoid this hotel at all cost.

Booked this on expedia and received lots of great communication from Ramada. On arrival, it became apparent that this was an old property (Flamingo Waterpark) recently purchased by Ramada. The signs in the hotel still said Flamingo and there was a small Ramada sign on the street (very difficult to see during the day and impossible to see at night). But, worse, the property is in terrible condition. Peeling paint, rusty hardware (door handles, plumbing, sink), dirty and broken light fixtures, and noisy fans. And, worse than that, the room SMELLS AWFUL. A mixture of cigarette smoke, body odor, mildew, and sewage. A perfect hotel for hourly rental by streetwalkers and their customers, but a far cry from a Ramada.

I found the hidden in the small print of Expedia that I would have to fork out another 65$ for "Membership" at 2am in the morning after having a Taxi bill of 100$ Because there was no address for the Hotel on my ticket or itinerary confirmation.

The staff was great. There is no elevator. There was no place to hang my clothing. The building is old but not in need of repair. The room and common areas are well maintained. The water park was a nice attraction when fully operational. This is a good place for a family on a budget.
