Do you like roaches?

This property is disgusting. Not only is it infested with roaches, but there are unpatched holes in the walls, a loose handrail that fell on one of my family members, the couches are old and all of the faux leather peeled off and left residue on our clothes. The toilets all had issues flushing and the property management company only works 9-5 mon-thurs and never answers the phone before 11am. They sent pest control to the house while we went to the beach when I complained that we killed 4 roaches the first morning we woke up and when we returned from the beach the roaches were everywhere. We could not even use the grill as the grates we completely burned through and it burned the food as soon as we turned the gas on. The management company has only refunded me the grill fee. I took pictures and complained from the day we walked in about the poor maintaining of the property, the remotes had no batteries, the air upstairs did not work and we had to use fans which several were provided which makes me think they knew the air was not working properly. RUN FAR AWAY FROM THIS LISTING.

Disappointed

After seeing the other review and complaints (especially about the cockroaches), I contacted the property manager and was informed that all of the problems were taken care of right away. I saw this review about 2 weeks before my trip and after having it booked since January 2023. About an hour after arriving, we saw the first of many cockroaches during our stay. Mostly smaller cockroaches, but saw 2 that were about 2 inches in length upstairs. Very limited communication from the property manager about my concerns. They came and spayed once with a basic spray for household bugs. The largest amount of cockroaches were found in the kitchen (by the garbage can, all over the counters, backsplash, in the toaster, on the cabinets, etc.). They were also found in bathrooms and bedrooms. The carpet and baseboards throughout the house were very dirty. The air filters were also very dirty and caked in dust. We had no level of comfort during our stay and had everything sealed in suitcases and containers the whole stay. Despite all the precautions we took (including throwing out our suitcases when we got home), we found several cockroaches in our home after returning. Just found another one this morning and it's been 4 weeks since we checked out of this house. We have never seen a cockroach in our lives until staying at this property. The property manager stopped communicating with me and continues to ignore my messages and calls. This was our first and last Vrbo stay.
