"After 3 nights in the Porcupine Wilderness the Bobcat Cabin was the perfect place to come back to. It was cozy and had everything we needed. Its simplicity and self-reliance makes it the perfect nature getaway. We were there when it rained and the hosts have made it the perfect spot to curl up with a book or take a midday nap. They were also very accommodating and responsive. We can’t wait to get back and explore more of the nearby trails. "Spacious and private, clean and comfortable. The lake is beautiful for swimming, boating, and fishing. Easy access to lots of hiking trails and other nearby attractions, great home base for anything you want to do in the western UP. Great communication from the owner with check in/ out instructions and comprehensive guide to the area that was sent ahead of time. We were there just as a family of 4 but there was plenty of space for larger groups "

"We just returned from the most amazing stay at this beautiful cabin on the lake in the Upper Peninsula, and we are already dreaming of coming back! From the moment we arrived, we were blown away by the peaceful setting, stunning lake views, and cozy atmosphere of the cabin.The cabin itself was spotless, well-equipped, and full of charming rustic touches that made us feel right at home. We loved waking up to the sound of loons on the water and enjoying our morning coffee on the deck overlooking the lake. The sunsets here are simply breathtaking—every night felt like a postcard!Everything we could have needed was provided—comfortable beds, a fully stocked kitchen, and even a fire pit for s’mores under the stars. It was the perfect mix of adventure and relaxation. We spent our days fishing and taking advantage of the nearby waterfalls and sightseeing spots, which were absolutely stunning.The hosts were outstanding—so friendly, welcoming, and quick to answer any questions. You can tell they truly care about making sure guests have a wonderful experience.If you’re looking for a peaceful, lakeside retreat to relax, recharge, and reconnect with nature, this is the place. We made so many great memories here and can’t wait to return! Highly recommend!"

"This was a great place to stay as we hiked the traphills on the north country trail! The large entry room was a great location for all of our hiking gear. Having the bar next door for a quick drink or food helped after a long hiking day too. "
