"When we checked in they never assigned us to our room so we were walked in on three times after our first night before they finally fixed it."

"I was not impressed but I am trying to keep in mind that they are under newer ownership. The floors were very uneven, even in the elevator. I could not get the TV to go to a channel and there were no instructions. I am use to cable and this was a smart tv that was only apps but I was not putting my personal information on it. It was definitely run down. The hot down was down. The tub had all types of chips out of the enamel. I would like to give it a try again but maybe in a year or so."

"The bed was comfortable. The room was clean. My air conditioner/heating unit did not seem to be working, so I was too warm both nights of my stay. The lobby seemed to be fairly nice, clean, well kept. Other public spaces - hallways, elevators - were in poor shape. Carpets worn and things were dirty. Visibly dirty. I did not use the pool or the arcade, but I thought the vintage arcade games were a nice touch. The bar and restaurant, Tanglewood, was a mistake I won’t make again. Food was below average quality, but the bill was too big for its britches."

"Hotel is conveniently located. Breakfast opens at 7:00am which is too late for early flights out of Capitol Airport."

"This is one of our favorite places to stay in Lansing. The staff is always very kind and approachable and you can tell they work really hard to make it a great experience for their customers. Only downside is the charge for parking, since there is certainly no shortage in the area, because it isn't in a densely populated area and you can only get there by car. Just another way for the property owners to nickel and dime customers."
