“I stayed for one night while visiting my daughter at Chichester University and had hoped to find a hotel I could use regularly, but I will not be returning.
The website says parking is available, but the hotel car park was difficult to find, extremely small and full. “Enjoyable stay. Lovely room. Friendly staff. Enjoyed use of tennis court.
Let down slightly by tiny details.
No staff behind bar (had to go and find somebody).
Long wait for coffee at breakfast.
Getting order wrong for room service.
Nobody picking phone up for room service (had to ring Reception in the end…twice).
Poor quality club sandwich from room service (bacon and chicken straight out of long stay in fridge!)”

(It's an easy walk through the historic center, past inviting shops and restaurants.)
The "annex" rooms are around the corner from the main in and pub, and the separation was no problem. The area felt……
